Local architects Zoe Prillinger and Luke Ogrydziak of Ogrydziak/Prillinger have developed this skillful design for a clean and crisp single family home on an unusually configured lot while faced with the challenge of accommodating seemingly irreconcilable design directives.

These included the developer's desire for a strong substantive design statement and a relatively large number of square feet, the neighbors' desire for a "stealth structure" that would not block the dramatic views they enjoy and one of the investor's desire to minimize the project's impact on his nearby home. In the end the project proceeded with everyone's support.

The design provides for a spacious three level home of over 5,000 sq. ft. set back far from the street with four bedrooms; three and one-half baths, family room; deck; patio; garden; elevator; stunning views of Downtown San Francisco, the Bay Bridge and the Bay; plus a three car side by side garage.

Construction is underway and expected to be completed in late 2004.
